According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the Ca Mau Provincial Fine Arts Association was established on the basis of merging two local branches, with 19 members (Ca Mau 14, Bac Lieu 5). The establishment of the new Executive Committee aims to strengthen connections, promote collective strengths and create favorable conditions for members in creating and participating in professional activities.

During the 2019-2024 term, the branches had many outstanding activities, leaving their mark at regional and national fine art exhibitions, winning many awards from the Central and local levels. Many works of members were highly appreciated, contributing to the overall development of fine arts in the South and the whole country.

Speaking at the ceremony, artist Phan Thai Hoang , Head of the Ca Mau Province Fine Arts Association, emphasized: "The merger of the association and the launch of the new Executive Committee opens up opportunities for painters, sculptors, and visual artists to have more of a connecting environment, together spreading their love of art, contributing to building an increasingly rich cultural and spiritual life."

The Executive Committee of the Fine Arts Association of Ca Mau province was launched with 3 members: Painter Phan Thai Hoang - Chairman; Painter Tran Hoang Thanh - Vice Chairman; Painter Du Minh Chien - Member.

On this occasion, Mr. Ngo Thanh Hung, former Head of the Fine Arts Association of Ca Mau province, presented flowers to congratulate the new Executive Committee, expressing his belief that the Executive Committee and members will continue and promote the tradition, bringing the fine arts movement of Ca Mau to further development.

The launching event of the Executive Committee of the Fine Arts Association of Ca Mau province marks a new development step of the local fine arts movement, contributing to affirming the role of fine arts in social life, creating motivation for artists to continue to create, serve the public and contribute to the cultural and artistic career of the province.
