The working delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Huoi
During the program, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Huoi (Chong My hamlet), the family of War invalid Nguyen Anh Nguyet (Hamlet 8) and War invalid Pham Cong Toan (Hamlet 4).
At each destination, the leaders of the units warmly visited, sent their best wishes, and expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and great contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of policy beneficiaries to the cause of national liberation. The delegation also hoped that the families would continue to promote their traditions, live happily and healthily, and accompany the locality in building and developing their homeland.
On the same day, the delegation presented a house of gratitude to Mr. Vo Hung Cuong, a household with difficult housing circumstances in Hamlet 1, Nam Can Commune. The house is worth 50 million VND and was supported by Squadron 42, Coast Guard Region 4 Command in conjunction with Cong Ly Newspaper.
Mr. Tran Duc Vinh, member of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court, Party Cell Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Cong Ly Newspaper (right) presented a symbolic house plaque to Mr. Vo Hung Cuong.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented 50 cartons of milk, 60 bicycles, 2,000 notebooks and 120 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND) to students in difficult circumstances who are striving to excel in their studies.
Leaders of Nam Can commune and leaders of Coast Guard Region 4 Command presented bicycles to students.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Hanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Can Commune, expressed: "On behalf of the local Party Committee, government and people, I would like to sincerely thank the attention and practical support of Cong Ly Newspaper, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4, the People's Court of Ca Mau Province, the Military Court of Military Region 9 and accompanying units. The meaningful gifts and humanitarian deeds today not only share difficulties and give more motivation to policy families, poor households and students to overcome difficulties, but also are a source of encouragement for the locality to continue to build an increasingly rich and civilized homeland."
Mr. Vo Van Hanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Can commune, awarded certificates of merit and flowers to thank the collectives and individuals who made many contributions to this activity.
