Twin Power is an animated film that explores the theme of twin sisterhood, portraying the lives, personalities, complexities of teenagers and the soaring imagination of their growing years. The film aims at the harmony between reality and fantasy, promoting positive human energy, the spirit of unifying yin and yang to connect humans with the universe, with Mother Nature. The boundaries between good and evil, reality and fantasy are subtly recreated through the modern perspective of two intelligent, sensitive teenage girls.
The film revolves around twin sisters Yen and An, who grew up in an incomplete family, always nurturing a desire to know about their origins. Since they were young, they lived with their grandmother, but never knew clearly about their biological parents. One day, after accidentally discovering old artifacts in the family warehouse, the two sisters decided to start searching and piecing together the remaining traces of their parents, hoping to discover the secret behind. They did not know that their journey was being followed and harassed by the very people who harmed their parents. The scattered pieces they found gradually opened up for themselves mysterious powers to fight evil, giving them the mission to lead the battle between light and darkness.

The film depicts Yen and An's journey to find the truth, realize themselves and reconnect with their forgotten roots.

The twin sisters, "two but one", symbolize the inseparable bond between humans and the universe. Through these two characters, the film depicts familiar issues such as school age, friendship, communication of today's teenagers, loneliness in the era of flat connection, along with family relationships, neighborly love... All create a colorful picture but still imbued with the spirit of Vietnamese humanity.
Animation aims to introduce Vietnamese culture to the world
Not only stopping at the teenage story, Twin Power is also the dream of the production team - the desire to introduce Vietnamese culture to the world. The team chose the Oc Eo culture, Bay Nui region ( An Giang ) - an ancient culture that developed in the South from the 1st to the 7th century, associated with the ancient kingdom of Phu Nam. This is a great culture in Vietnamese history, associated with the country and people in the lower Mekong Delta and has a close relationship with ancient Southeast Asian history.
The production unit said that the film also has an English version to exploit the international market. "In the film, we have incorporated images of the background from the Seven Mountains region, river scenes, poetic countryside, images of the Southern scarf or cuisine from the West such as sour soup, mango salad... with the desire to bring the image of Vietnam to the world," the production representative shared.
The animated film Twin Power (script: Viet idea, director: Do Anh Tien, editor: Master of Psychology - Education Nguyen Thi My Hanh, produced by Vietfilm) is expected to have 200 episodes, with a duration of 30 minutes/episode, part 1 will air from November 3, 2025 to June 30, 2026 on HTV, YouTube and Facebook channels.
