In the sky of Ba Dinh Square, the Vietnam Air Force units performed a welcome flyover with 31 aircraft including helicopters, Su30-MK2, multi-role fighters Yak-130 and L-39NG, and CASA tactical transport aircraft. Of which, 10 helicopters carrying the Party flag and the national flag flew over Ba Dinh Square; while the Su30-MK2 and Yak-130 aircraft performed a display of dropping heat traps and aerobatics in the sky of Hanoi .

The forces participating in the sea parade (taking place at Cam Ranh Khanh Hoa military port) were broadcast live to Ba Dinh Square via a screen with commentary, including: the Navy, Coast Guard, Border Guard and Military Region 5, with many types of weapons and equipment: command ships; maritime patrol aircraft, anti-submarine helicopters; submarine squadrons, missile frigates, anti-submarine frigates, fast attack missile boats, naval gunboats; Coast Guard ship squadrons; Border Guard and Standing Militia Squadron, along with many modern vehicles and equipment.
