Some secondary industries recorded high growth rates compared to the same period last year, such as: Printing and copying of all kinds of records increased by over 16%; other mining increased by 16%; food production and processing increased by over 12%; wood processing and production of products from wood, bamboo and rattan increased by 11.5%; production of products from non-metallic minerals increased by 9.6%; electricity production and distribution increased by 9%; repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment increased by 9%.
Along with the growth of the IIP index, many of the province's main industrial products also recorded a significant increase compared to the same period last year. Specifically: Kaolin reached 88,854 tons (up 67%), cassava starch reached 73,624 tons (up 19.3%), shirts reached 10,236 thousand pieces (up 17%), wind power reached 2,210 million kWh (up 15%), wood chips reached 683,972 tons (up 14.6%), plywood from wood reached 222,138m³ (up over 14%)...
The above figures show that the province's industrial production continues to recover and develop in a stable and sustainable direction. This is an important premise for the Quang Tri Industry and Trade sector to make a breakthrough in the fourth quarter, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's economic growth targets in 2025.
