From March 27 to 29, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Fair of Typical Vietnamese Export Goods and the International Exhibition of Gifts and Souvenirs 2025 will take place.

On the afternoon of February 10, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Enterprise Support and Development (CSED) and the Mekong Institute of Applied Science, Technology and Training (MEFAST) signed a bilateral cooperation agreement to jointly organize the Fair of Typical Vietnamese Export Goods in 2025 (HCM City Export 2025) and the International Gift and Souvenir Exhibition Fair in 2025 (HCMC Gifts Show 2025).

Mr. Le Minh Trung - Director of CSED and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong - Director of MEFAST signed a bilateral cooperation agreement in jointly organizing HCM City Export 2025 and HCMC Gifts Show 2025.

According to the signed cooperation agreement, the two sides will coordinate bilaterally and closely with relevant parties in effectively implementing the content of organizing a series of key events in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

Among them, there are the Fair of typical Vietnamese export goods in 2025 and the International Exhibition of gifts and souvenirs in 2025. This program is considered the "opening event" of the year and the first of the country in promoting trade of Vietnam's key export industries in 2025.

The signed cooperation document also stated that the two units will promote communication, promotion and introduction of the event; invite businesses and provinces to participate in booths; survey the business connection needs; build programs and organize demonstration spaces and product manufacturing.

Along with that, organize factory and enterprise tours, survey raw material areas and growing areas; coordinate to organize Livestream activities, connect domestic and international product trade; organize training programs, etc.

Expected to gather 1,000 booths from more than 900 domestic and international enterprises

With a scale of 1,000 booths from more than 900 domestic and international enterprises displaying and introducing products of various industries: Agricultural products, food; equipment, packaging, labels, printing...; traditional export industries: textiles, footwear, handicrafts...; export support service products (logistics, insurance, finance...).

With an expected attendance of approximately 50,000 visitors, HCM City Export 2025 is expected to be the largest event compared to previous editions in terms of quantity, product quality, and typical suppliers in Vietnam's export sector as well as the number of potential customers in international markets.

Notably, within the framework of the HCM City Export 2025 conference, the 2025 International Gift and Souvenir Exhibition will take place from March 27 to 29, 2025.

This event focuses on displaying a variety of gift and souvenir products, including: Handicrafts (wooden handicrafts, products from bamboo, rattan, coconut, ceramics, art paintings); textiles and footwear (scarves, handbags, leather wallets, handmade shoes); jewelry and accessories: handmade jewelry, fashion accessories; food and beverages (local specialties, tea, coffee...).

According to the Organizing Committee, the event is an opportunity for businesses to introduce products, find partners and expand markets. In particular, participating businesses will receive 50% support for booth rental costs from the state budget.

The event will be held from March 27 to March 29, 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) - Ho Chi Minh City, chaired by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City.

In which, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Enterprise Support and Development is the standing unit, directly coordinating the implementation with relevant organizations, units and localities, invited partners, domestic and foreign enterprises.
