Arrange 140 public universities from 2026

TP - The Ministry of Education and Training said that, according to the assignment, the assigned unit will develop a project to rearrange and reorganize educational and training facilities and vocational education.

It must have the cooperation and consensus of ministries, central branches and localities, especially universities and vocational training institutions.

Regarding the problem of training, it must be linked to the practical requirements of society as well as the labor market. To do this, first of all, the Ministry of Education and Training determined that the upcoming project will be based on the foundation and viewpoints of the Party's Resolution, the Government's Resolution...

Second, based on the strategy for developing higher education and vocational education. Next, based on the approved planning of the network of higher education and vocational education facilities. Finally, based on the socio-economic development goals of the country in the coming period and the socio-economic development zones, national security and defense.

According to Mr. Le Tan Dung, the objective of the Project requires training to be linked to development goals, ensuring substance and effectiveness. On the basis of referring to international experience and closely following the practical conditions of Vietnam.
