SCB invites bids to remove advertising billboards at 16 business units

Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) announces the invitation for bids for the package "Removing 21 advertising billboards at 16 SCB business units".

Accordingly, the latest time to receive bidding documents is 3:00 p.m. on January 19. To participate in the bidding, SCB requires bidders to open a payment account at the bank. If they do not agree, they must clearly state the reason.

SCB notes that the bid price of the contractor is considered to include all necessary costs to implement the package in accordance with the design and technical requirements stated in the bidding request.

No deviation correction shall be made in case the work items proposed by the contractor in the bid summary table are different from the work items listed in the request for quotation.

Unless the proposed work is outside the scope of the request for quotation (outside the quantity to be completed according to the design). In this case, the part of the work outside the scope of the request for quotation will be considered as excess and adjusted according to the regulations.

The bid price of the bidder must include all taxes, fees and charges (if any) applied according to the tax rates, fees and charges at 82 days prior to the prescribed bid closing date.

In case the bidder declares that the bid price does not include taxes, fees, and charges (if any), the bidder's request for quotation will be rejected.

This move comes after SCB announced the closure of 5 transaction offices in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. In 2023, SCB announced the closure of a series of 39 transaction offices. Thus, up to now, the total number of transaction offices temporarily suspended by the bank is 44.

At the same time, this bank is also offering a batch of 23 specialized cash transport vehicles for sale. The starting price for this batch of vehicles is 3.98 billion VND. The bank said that it will only sell in batches, not individually.

The auction date is January 19. SCB is responsible for paying corporate income tax, all remaining costs (including fees, charges, taxes,...) are the buyer's responsibility .
