There will be many special activities in the Kate Festival 2025

On October 7, the People's Committees of Ninh Phuoc and Phuoc Hau communes issued a plan to organize activities on the occasion of the Kate Festival in 2025. Accordingly, the festival in Phuoc Hau commune will take place from October 17 to 25; and in Ninh Phuoc commune it will take place from October 19 to 24.

During the festival days in Phuoc Hau commune, there will be art performances, sports competitions, and folk games to serve the people and tourists. In Ninh Phuoc commune, people will participate in activities such as: Thanksgiving ceremony at Po Klong Garai and Po Rome towers; Po Klong Chanh temple opening ceremony; worshiping village gods in My Nghiep, Bau Truc, and village 6 villages. As for the festival, there will be an art program taking place on the evening of October 19 at Ninh Phuoc Square; many exciting dance, singing, and sports competitions will also be organized in the villages. In addition, localities will also visit and encourage dignitaries, prestigious people, and incumbent officials of the Cham people following Brahmanism in the area.

The Kate Festival aims to preserve, maintain and promote the traditional cultural values ​​of the Cham people; contributing to building a new cultural life, imbued with national identity. This is also an opportunity to promote cultural tourism, festivals and spiritual tourism, creating a competitive atmosphere to successfully carry out the local political tasks in 2025.
