At noon on October 6, Shark Binh (businessman Nguyen Hoa Binh ) continued to organize a livestream on the Shark Nguyen Hoa Binh Fanpage, with the topic "Leadership thinking in difficult and volatile times".
The livestream took place at 12 noon and attracted thousands of followers. At its peak, there were more than 5,000 simultaneous views and a very high level of interaction from.
However, many viewers were confused when their comments were hidden or locked, even though the content did not violate regulations, was not rude or related to coins, crypto or the AntEx cryptocurrency project as Shark Binh had previously noted.
In this livestream, he only focuses on sharing his experiences and insights in his 24-year entrepreneurial journey.
What did Shark Binh do after his failures?
During the livestream, Shark Binh talked about the role of a leader in times of economic turmoil. He compared a business to a ship sailing in the middle of a dark ocean, facing a big storm.
"Two things are needed: one is a good ship - a good team, product and market; two is the right direction. No matter how good a ship is, if it has no direction, it will go astray. I have gone through a period of doing and plowing in the wrong direction, resulting in wasted effort, failure, and meaninglessness" - Shark Binh shared.
When viewers asked him how he would deal with failure, Shark Binh said he had gone through many difficult times, even “on the verge of bankruptcy” 5-6 times during his 20 years in business.

“My life was full of failures. I entered life as a naive young man, with only a bright mind and holiness. But then I had to face all kinds of competition, and almost went bankrupt many times. It was those failures that forged my courage,” he said.
According to Shark Binh, when he fell into the most desperate situation, the first thing he chose was to calm down and rest. “After that, I started to look back at the basic formulas: is my business still relevant or out of date? Do I need to rest or wait for the right time?”
If there is anything wrong or incorrect, please ignore it and wish to learn.
He also emphasized the “fate” factor – that is, reviewing the expertise and core competencies of oneself and the business. From there, rethink the strategy to decide the next step.
“You have to be calm, don’t be greedy. The two factors of reason and courage will guide your actions in the right direction” - Shark Binh said in the livestream session.
He said he once lost a huge contract because his competitor had dozens of times more money. When he was the first e-commerce platform in Vietnam, in 2013, despite attracting foreign investment, he still had no chance of competing in the market.
There were times when he was extremely disappointed when they announced that they would not continue investing, and even offered to withdraw the remaining amount. "Faced with that reality, with a clear and holy mind, I agreed. There are many other startups that are bad" - Mr. Binh said.
At the end of the livestream, Shark Binh said that he is a self-made man, with his own strength, and if there is anything wrong, he wants to learn and be forgiven.
Recently, social networks have been buzzing about the AntEx cryptocurrency project related to NextTech Group Chairman Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh).
In response to public information, Mr. Binh affirmed that he himself was also a victim, as an investor and contributor.
The AntEx cryptocurrency project (AntEx token) was launched around September 2021 and was introduced as a "Make in Vietnam" Blockchain ecosystem with the ambition of building a decentralized exchange, e-wallet and many digital financial applications.
However, just a short time after its launch, AntEx cryptocurrency continuously plummeted, losing almost all of its value, causing many investors to suffer heavy losses.
Notably, the project has the participation of NextTech/Next100 fund founded by Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh) as an investor.
Regarding the AntEx cryptocurrency project, according to sources , some investors have reported to Hanoi City Police.
