FPT makes its mark at the Central Public Security Party Congress

FPT is honored to be one of the technology enterprises present at the C06 booth at the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security.

This congress is of special significance, marking the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing of the People's Public Security Force (PPP) under the leadership of the Party. This is also a milestone opening a new development stage for the Party Committee and the entire PPP, towards the goal of " peace , stability, sustainable development, high quality and improving all aspects of people's lives".

Within the framework of the event, at the exhibition booth of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06),FPT was honored to be one of the technology enterprises bringing typical solutions including Vietnam's epidemiological and pharmaceutical map, FPT.IDCheck identity authentication solution, Smart Traffic - CCCD application as train tickets of Metro Line 1. These solutions demonstrate the efforts to accompany the Ministry of Public Security in promoting digital utilities for people and improving the efficiency of state management based on data.

The Vietnam Epidemiology & Pharmaceutical Map solution is a breakthrough tool developed by FPT, aiming to improve preventive medicine capacity and public health care through technology. The solution is a map reflecting the drug demand in each locality and forecasting the risk of epidemics in real time, successfully digitized thanks to reliable input data from a system of more than 2,200 FPT Long Chau pharmacies nationwide, currently serving more than 28 million people.

The system works by collecting and anonymizing drug purchase and sale data from pharmacy chains and transactions via VNeID, and connecting to the national population database for analysis, making accurate and timely forecasts. The solution brings a dual benefit: for the Government, it supports preventive health policy planning, optimizes drug allocation and reduces the burden of public health costs; for the people, it helps access drugs that meet their needs, proactively prevents diseases and saves on personal health care costs.

In particular, from January 1, 2025, citizens can buy medicine online via VNeID, marking a new step in the journey of digitalizing medical utilities, bringing technology closer to people's lives.

In parallel, FPT.IDCheck, an electronic identification and authentication platform developed by FPT, accompanies the Ministry of Public Security in implementing Project 06 on developing national population data, identification and electronic authentication. The solution is licensed to connect directly to the population database of the Ministry of Public Security, applying advanced technologies such as AI, Big Data, NFC and biometrics, helping to authenticate digital identities with chip-embedded CCCDs quickly, accurately and safely.

FPT.IDCheck allows direct comparison of CCCD information with the original data of Department C06, ensuring absolute authenticity, anti-counterfeiting and maximum security. Thanks to that, people can carry out identification procedures in just a few seconds when using banking, healthcare, education, insurance or public administration services online. The solution helps minimize the risk of fraud and improve user experience.

Delegates experience FPT.IDCheck solution

To date, FPT.IDCheck has performed more than 25 million authentications, with a total of 100 million transactions, trusted by more than 200 organizations nationwide. The solution contributes significantly to improving the reliability of online services, promoting the process of building a safe and sustainable digital government and digital economy in Vietnam.

In addition, the smart traffic solution - Metro No. 1 marks a new step forward in applying national population data according to Project 06 into practical life. At Metro Line No. 1 of Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), passengers can use chip-embedded ID cards to authenticate and pass through the ticket booth quickly, completely replacing traditional cards or paper tickets.

The ticket booth system is integrated with a CCCD reader, directly connected and instantly authenticated with the national population database, ensuring transparency, safety and information security. Thanks to that, people move more conveniently, shorten the time through the ticket booth and improve the experience in public transport.

The system currently serves more than 120,000 trips per day, contributing to realizing the goal of digitalizing transport infrastructure, optimizing metro operations and creating a platform for connecting multiple public services with only one digital identity - VNeID, towards a smart, modern and sustainable urban model.

FPT is proud to accompany the Ministry of Public Security in the model of Public-Private Creation, Research, Development and Implementation of many practical technology solutions, contributing to promoting Project 06 on developing population data, national electronic identification and authentication. Through practical applications, FPT not only affirms the role of Vietnamese technology enterprises in the national digital transformation process, but also accompanies the Ministry of Public Security in realizing the goals of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, towards a safe, modern and sustainable digital government, digital society, and digital citizens.
