Many exciting activities to celebrate Mai Thi Nuong festival

Before and during the festival commemorating the 65th anniversary of the sacrifice of People's Armed Forces Hero Mai Thi Nuong (October 12, 1960 - October 12, 2025), Giong Rieng commune organized 8 cultural and sports activities, product exhibitions and applied digital technology in propaganda. The activities attracted a large number of people, union members, students and businesses to participate, creating an exciting and united atmosphere towards the day of incense offering in memory of the hometown heroine.

The women's volleyball tournament of Giong Rieng commune had 14 participating teams, exchanging sports on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the sacrifice of People's Armed Forces Hero Mai Thi Nuong, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and the sports training movement.

62 students were admitted to the Mai Thi Nuong Youth Union in 2025, continuing the heroic tradition and arousing the pride of the young generation.

20 OCOP booths and local specialty products, of which Giong Rieng commune has 9 standard products, 1 provincial 4-star product, contributing to promoting the potential, strengths and development aspirations of the homeland.

The dragon boat teams work together in harmony, demonstrating solidarity and collective strength.
