Suoi Kiet - Strong Party, Trusting People

In recent years, the Party Committee of Suoi Kiet commune, Tanh Linh district has focused on implementing drastic and synchronous solutions to promote the new rural construction movement, integrating good models and effective methods. Therefore, the relationship between the Party and the people has become increasingly close.

Coming to Suot Kiet these days, no one would think that a commune with 5 villages, with difficult roads, has now become like a city in the village. Especially in village 2, which is purely ethnic minority, many new houses are spacious, roads including alleys that used to be small and narrow paths, are now concreted so cars can go right into the house. Ms. Mang Thi Thuy, who lives in the alley behind Suot Kiet Kindergarten, shared that in the past, the living conditions of the people here were difficult, but in recent years, the Party and the State have paid attention to creating conditions for people to do business, so now life is better. In response to that concern, we always comply with the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State. Typically, recently, the People's Committee of the commune has deployed the construction of new rural roads according to the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2021 - 2025, we donated land to widen the road.

The whole village currently has 6 rural traffic routes, each route is paved with concrete more than 4m wide, with welcome gates, lighting, and flag poles to hang flags to celebrate the holidays. Security and order in the village are relatively stable, with no violations of the law. Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh - Secretary of the village Party Cell said that the whole village has 427 households/1,582 people, mainly Raglay ethnic group; there are 16 party members, of which 14 are ethnic minority party members. In the village, there are many good models such as: Security lighting model, traffic safety model, flag pole model, cotton planting model on both sides of the road being launched... People here follow the Party's policies and guidelines quite well, especially in donating land for road construction. That is why the village Party Cell 2 has always completed its tasks excellently since its establishment in 2018.

In addition to Village 2, which has a large number of ethnic minorities, other villages such as Villages 1, 3, 4, and 5 are also spacious, green, and clean. The movements launched by the Party Committee and the Commune People's Committee have been actively responded by the people in the village. For example, the commune launched the construction of welcome gates at the beginning of the village, accounting for each gate worth 15-20 million VND. After the launch, all the people and businesses responded to contribute. Up to now, there is a welcome gate at the beginning of every village, expressing the love for the homeland of the people in the commune.

To turn the village into a "village town", it is thanks to the efforts of the Commune Party Committee in strictly implementing the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee and the programs and plans of the Party Committees at all levels to cadres, Party members and people. In addition, the Party Committee thoroughly promotes studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh .

In political and ideological education, the Commune Party Committee focuses on improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees, and the exemplary responsibility of leaders. Along with political and ideological education, the Suoi Kiet Commune Party Committee also actively builds a cadre and Party member team with exemplary spirit, a sense of organization and discipline, and practical capacity to successfully complete tasks. The Commune Party Committee has regularly disseminated the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels to each Party cell and Party members, and at the same time built operating regulations and maintained the Party cell's activities in an orderly manner. Every week, every month, every quarter, the Commune Party Committee holds meetings with departments, branches, unions, and Party cell secretaries to draw out experiences and limitations for timely correction. Strictly implement the assignment of Party Committee members to attend the activities of hamlet Party cells; Party members' recommendations at Party cells are synthesized, considered, and resolved. Cadres and party members are assigned to be in charge of each household, village, and hamlet to act as a bridge to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to the masses. From there, each cadre and party member can promote their pioneering and exemplary role in socio-economic development movements and mobilize their families and the masses to participate.

Suoi Kiet is known as one of the few localities in the province that met the new rural standards at the beginning of the National Target Program on new rural construction in the period of 2021-2025. This is one of the most difficult stages to achieve compared to the previous stages, because there are 19 criteria, including many difficult sub-criteria. Mr. Tran Minh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Suoi Kiet commune said that Suoi Kiet is the commune with the largest natural land area in the district, bordering many communes and districts, including a village bordering Dong Nai. The commune reached the new rural standard in 2022, the beginning of the new rural construction period in the new situation. This stage has many difficult criteria, but with determination, with the motto of turning difficulties into advantages, the commune strives to bring Suoi Kiet to the new rural commune. That year, Suoi Kiet was the first commune of Tanh Linh district and a number of other communes in the province to reach the new rural standard.

The Party Committee has constantly innovated the content and methods of propagating and educating Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought for cadres and party members to contribute to raising political and ideological awareness, advisory role, building orientations, policies and solutions for economic, cultural and social development, and concretizing them into criteria suitable to the characteristics of the locality. Up to now, the local situation has been stable, people trust the policies and guidelines of the Party and State. This is also a premise for the commune to strive to soon reach the goal of advanced new rural areas, Mr. Tuan added.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Suoi Kiet Commune Party Committee will continue to synchronously implement solutions to constantly improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and Party members; continue to maintain the title of a Party Committee that has successfully completed its tasks, strengthen people's trust in the Party and government, and build Suoi Kiet increasingly rich and strong.

Suoi Kiet Commune Party Committee has 150 party members, operating in 12 party cells. Of which, 11/12 subordinate party cells have completed their tasks well or better. In 2023, Suoi Kiet admitted 8 new party members, concretized 6 roads, built 14 new houses for policy families, the poor and near-poor from the Fund for the Poor, and contributions from local and foreign benefactors.
