Recreating memories of Quang Nam in Hoi An through Kim Bong countryside market

Hoi An - Cam Kim Commune People's Committee will organize Kim Bong Countryside Market from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on June 11, 2025 at Kim Bong Craft Village Center.

The event aims to promote indigenous cultural values, promising to be a vibrant cultural space, authentically recreating "Memories of the mid-20th century rural market" associated with the heritage land.

Coming to the market, visitors will be taken back in time, immersing themselves in the rustic atmosphere of a traditional carpentry village. The market space is divided into many unique areas: where children learn to sing folk songs, where attractive folk games such as bai choi, bingo, blindfolded pot smashing, tam huong pouring, etc. Interspersed with tradition is the vibrant "Youth Music Space", creating a unique cultural exchange.

The highlight is the "old hometown wharf" food court with dishes full of memories such as Quang noodles, cao lau, banh beo, stir-fried mussels, mung bean sweet soup...

Visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy the Thu Bon River on boat trips, listen to the call and response of traditional Vietnamese folk songs and return to their childhood with kites flying in the blue smoke of the afternoon.

Kim Bong Countryside Market is not only a place to shop for clean agricultural products and handicrafts made by local people, but also aims to develop green and sustainable tourism through the use of environmentally friendly materials.
