108 Central Military Hospital implements humanitarian surgery program for women with breast cancer who have had mastectomy
The program has the participation of leading experts in the field of aesthetics and plastic surgery: Dr. Peeyush Peter Sharma (UK), Dr. Markos Solomos (Greece) and experienced experts, doctors and technicians from 108 Military Central Hospital.
There will be 4 surgical rounds, supporting 50 patients in 2025. Of which, round 1 will start on February 28 and round 2 will start on March 3, the next rounds will be announced later. Patients participating in the program will be exempted from breast implants and surgery costs. Patients will pay for hospitalization and pre-surgery testing. Breast implants are FDA-approved, ensuring safety and aesthetics.
