Newcomer Ninh Binh FC forced the Korean Student team to share points

The opening ceremony of the Thien Long Tournament (TLT S8) – Thaigroup Cup 2025. On the first day, Ninh Binh FC had an exciting match with the tournament's only foreign opponent.

On the afternoon of July 20 at Tam Ky Stadium, the Thien Long Tournament (TLT S8) – Thaigroup Cup 2025 officially opened with the participation of 5 teams: Ninh Binh FC, HAGL, SHB Da Nang, host Quang Nam and especially the participation of the Korean Student team. This is also the first foreign team to participate in all 8 seasons of Thien Long Tournament.

As usual, this annual pre-season training tournament is an opportunity for the teams to adjust their squad and playing style, and also an opportunity for the bosses to introduce foreign players who are appearing on Vietnamese football fields for the first time.

Because of the friendly nature of the pre-season training, the Organizing Committee has created maximum conditions for the teams to test the players' legs and legs as well as practice tactics... According to the tournament regulations, teams are allowed to replace 3 players in each half, but during the break between 2 halves, if they want, teams can change the entire lineup.

The tournament takes place from July 20 to 28 with a total prize value of nearly 100 million VND. The host Quang Nam is also the defending champion of the tournament.

On the first day of competition, the ambitious Ninh Binh team and the Korean Student guests drew 2-2. Right after the opening ceremony, the host Quang Nam and their brother Da Nang also ended the match with a 1-1 result.
