In recent years, the Mong people in Tan Hop have actively participated in tourism activities. Many households have boldly renovated and upgraded their traditional houses into homestays, both preserving the typical architecture of the Mong people and providing space to welcome guests.
A typical example is Ninh Do homestay, in Na Hau village, which has been in operation since 2021 and quickly became a familiar address for many tourists.

In addition, the highland cuisine also contributes to creating a unique identity for Tan Hop. Simple but rich and attractive dishes such as black chicken, thang co, corn wine or seasonal wild vegetables make tourists remember forever. People still keep the habit of going to the forest to pick vegetables - vegetables that grow naturally, ensuring cleanliness, freshness, and especially a unique sweetness.
Tourists coming here can not only enjoy the food but also pick vegetables with the locals, process them and then sit around the fire to enjoy a rustic meal. It is this closeness and simplicity that has become the unique attraction of Tan Hop tourism, the key point that attracts tourists.

Mr. Ngo Quoc Tuan - a tourist from Mau A commune shared: "The scenery in Na Hau village is very cool, the people are hospitable. The cuisine here is rich, especially the thang co and black chicken are very delicious."
To meet the increasing demand of tourists, there are currently 7 community homestay models in 3 key villages. In addition, two tourism cooperatives have been established, organizing discovery tours, connecting many destinations in the region, contributing to the professionalization of tourism services, creating more livelihoods for people and preserving traditional culture.

Not stopping there, Tan Hop commune authorities also coordinated with organizations, including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), to conduct surveys on potential and long-term development orientation.
The participation of culinary and tourism experts also helps localities have more ideas in building new products and diversifying experiences for tourists.

The impressive highlight for Tan Hop tourism development is Na Hau Nature Reserve with an area of over 16,000 hectares. This is a primeval forest with a diverse ecosystem, possessing ancient forests hundreds of years old, fresh climate and many natural landscapes such as streams, waterfalls, and caves.
In particular, the population of more than 300 ancient ferns growing tall in the middle of the forest has become a rare "green wonder", attracting tourists to explore.
“The local government has a policy of developing tourism, and every year there are visitors coming to visit and experience. However, we also educate the people and strictly control visits to protect the forest.”

The combination of the majestic natural landscape of the reserve and the community tourism model has created a unique attraction for Tan Hop. This place is not only a destination for exploration and relaxation, but also for tourists to learn about the culture and experience the life of the Mong people.
