These days, the evenings at the cultural houses of Tam Thanh ward are always lit. Working groups are urgently implementing the 90-day campaign to enrich and clean up the land database. The land use right certificate files are carefully checked and compared by the officials.
Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, Head of the Ward's Economic , Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department, said: We have established working groups to go to the blocks to review and compile land information. The ward is collecting data from each household in 25 blocks, working both evenings and weekends. Up to now, 16 blocks have been reviewed, striving to complete before October 18.
Tam Thanh Ward is one of five commune-level units in the province that has not yet built a land database. For the people, the campaign is an opportunity for each plot of land to be "digitized", each document to be "identified", contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights of users.
To date, the entire province has completed nearly 50% of the campaign's workload. Lang Son has built a cadastral database for about 2.51 million land plots, reaching 77% of the total number of plots in the province; of which, 156,000 plots have complete data, more than 2.35 million plots are being edited and verified with information of users and property owners. |
Ms. Vi Thi Trach, Hoang Tam block, Tam Thanh ward shared: The block informed people to bring their "red books" and ID cards to check and compare information. I find the campaign very practical, helping people understand their land documents better, making it more convenient when they need to do procedures.
Not only in Tam Thanh, currently 65 communes and wards in the province are simultaneously deploying working groups to check land information and data... towards the goal of completing the land database.
Implementing Plan No. 515 dated August 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on implementing the campaign to enrich and clean the national land database, from September 1 to November 30, Lang Son will implement a 90-day campaign to enrich and clean the land database. During this time, all land plots in the area will be reviewed, standardized and assigned identification codes, creating connectivity between land, demographic, household and property data.
To ensure progress, the Provincial People's Committee has established a Campaign Steering Committee, in which the Department of Agriculture and Environment acts as the standing agency to coordinate with relevant units in implementation. At the grassroots level, working groups review records, enter data, assign land plot identification codes and coordinate with the police to verify citizen information. Commune-level People's Committees disseminate and guide people to provide documents to supplement accurate data.
Mr. Ta Quoc Vinh, Deputy Director of the Land Registration Office, Department of Agriculture and Environment, said: Since September, the office has developed a detailed plan for each phase, assigned staff in charge of each area and data group; issued commune-level instructions, set up a zalo group for online exchange and assigned staff to support the grassroots. After cleaning, the data will be checked and compared with cadastral maps and original records to ensure accuracy, ready for exploitation and shared use immediately after the end of the campaign.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Thu Trang, Head of the Social Order Administrative Police Department, Provincial Police, said: After receiving documents in batches, we classify and hand them over to the commune-level police to clean the data and verify the land plot information with the national population database. In cases of missing or incorrect information, the police force directly looks up and verifies to edit and supplement.
Up to now, the whole province has completed nearly 50% of the campaign's workload. Lang Son has built a land database for about 2.51 million land plots, reaching 77% of the total number of plots in the province; of which, 156,000 plots have complete data, more than 2.35 million plots are being edited, user information and property owners are being verified. In communes and wards that do not have a residential land and housing database, the authorities are collecting documents according to regulations. After matching with the national population database, land data will be synchronized, connected and shared throughout the province.
With its drastic participation, Lang Son is determined to complete the campaign before November 30, contributing to building a unified and modern land data system, creating a foundation for digital transformation in resource management and serving people and businesses more effectively.
