Create highlights for tourism products
As one of the long-standing and famous tourist areas of the province in the region and the whole country since the 1990s, after many ups and downs due to the boom of tourism services, recently, Buu Long Tourist Area (Tran Bien Ward) is gradually conquering the No. 1 position when the number of visitors increases sharply during holidays, Tet or peak season.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Investment and Development Company Limited, the management unit of Buu Long Tourist Area, said: With the goal of bringing Buu Long Tourist Area to grow, returning to the "race" of the province's top tourist destinations, in addition to communication activities, the Tourist Area also regularly maintains and repairs items, preserves the natural landscape, always beautiful and fresh, and at the same time enhances items and miniatures to create highlights. Therefore, the number of tourists to Buu Long from the beginning of 2025 to now has increased sharply, ranking first among destinations in the province in terms of the number of visitors attracted during peak times.
According to Mr. Thinh, in the coming time, Buu Long Tourist Area will continue to maintain propaganda solutions, care for and maintain the items, and at the same time create many new items during each peak season in the coming time.
Like Buu Long Tourist Area, the Stieng ethnic cultural conservation area in Bom Bo (Bom Bo commune, Dong Nai province) has recently made many impressions, attracting tourists from all over the country.
Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan encouraged tourist areas and destinations to be more proactive in improving the quality of tourism products and services, and building new tourism products with their own unique characteristics to meet the needs of domestic and international tourist markets.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of Bom Bo Commune General Service Center, the unit managing and operating the conservation area, said: Soc Bom Bo has just been recognized as a National Historical Relic. In recent times, the conservation area has had many programs and activities to introduce and promote the cultural and historical values as well as the people of the Stieng and M'nong ethnic groups to tourists. In particular, the 2024 "The sound of pestles echoing on Bom Bo" Festival attracted more than 20,000 visitors, creating a sudden growth in tourism for the destination.
Promoting the achieved results, the reserve continues to have festival programs and cultural events to create a reputation for Bom Bo squirrel and contribute to stimulating local tourism.
Mr. Tuan added: “In the past time, we have renovated the landscape around the conservation area so that visitors can have more experiences such as: planting flower gardens, renovating the accommodation area, enhancing community experience activities... These activities have contributed to increasing the number of visitors to Bom Bo village. In the coming time, with the title of National Historical Site, Bom Bo village will have more activities to attract more visitors to Bom Bo village and other tourist destinations in the province”.
Increase competitiveness through product quality
According to the assessment of some tourism businesses and eco-destinations in the province, the tourism industry is on the way to recovery and strong development. Many destinations have proactively created competition through new tourism products such as: Son Tien Tourist Area, Community tourism products in Ta Lai (Ta Lai commune), 3-star OCOP tourism products in Bu Gia Map commune...

Director of Bo Cap Vang Ecotourism Area (Dai Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai Province) Nguyen Thanh Sang said: The unit has just launched The Great Farm tourism product with new experiences for school-age children. This is a product aimed at attracting a large number of students from schools in the province.

With this new product, Golden Scorpion can serve about 2,000 guests at the same time with interesting experiences.
Sharing about tourism activities in areas and destinations in the province in recent times, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan said: In the first 8 months of 2025, Dong Nai welcomed over 5 million visitors, revenue from tourism services reached over 3.2 trillion VND. In recent times, the department has strengthened state management and implemented solutions to improve quality, develop the tourism industry more professionally, and diversify products. In addition, the tourism industry of Dong Nai province has strengthened links and cooperation in tourism development with localities across the country. At the same time, it has increased surveys and advised the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to urge and promote tourism projects to develop. Striving to achieve the goal of developing Dong Nai tourism to take off with aviation in 2025 as well as the following years.
