Financial Investment Magazine publishes special issue Private Economic Panorama

“Private Economic Panorama” is the third special issue published by VietnamFinance Magazine in 2024, following the success of the publications: Financial Panorama Special Issue (May 2024) and Financial Investment Panorama Special Issue (August 2024).

Through this, the Special Issue highlights the role and great contributions of the private economic sector to the country, especially in the context of recent messages from Party and State leaders emphasizing an "era of national rise".

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Anh Minh, Vice President of the Vietnam Financial Consulting Association, Editor-in-Chief of VietnamFinance Investment Magazine, said that the private economy has made important developments and achievements in the country's development history. However, history has had twists and turns that have caused the private economy to almost return to zero in the early 1980s, when the country fell into difficulty and crisis.

And then, the difficult situation at that time urged and opened up a process of innovation in which the private economy gradually regained its position, role and voice. Now, the private economy is present in almost all economic sectors and fields and has made enormous contributions to the national economy, especially in aspects such as contributing to the budget, creating jobs and stabilizing people's lives.

"Now we can see the mark of the private economy everywhere: our houses, the cars we drive, schools and hospitals, even in areas that were previously reserved for state-owned enterprises. There are areas that seem to be only capable of being handled by state-owned enterprises, but when transferred to private enterprises, they become even more effective, such as: aviation, trade, import and export... There are people who left the state sector, but when entering the market, they became excellent businessmen," said Mr. Hoang Anh Minh.

With a scale of 300 pages of content, the Special Edition Panorama of the Private Economy includes 3 main parts. Part I is a monograph report on the development of the private economy in Vietnam, from the beginning to the present. Part II is a forum for experts and managers to discuss outstanding issues and find solutions to promote the development of the private economy. Part III is a collection of emotional articles about typical businesses and entrepreneurs, who are contributing to shaping the face of the Vietnamese economy.

Not only providing detailed statistics and memorable milestones, the Special Issue also depicts typical portraits of people who have made history, stories about the glorious but also arduous and bitter business lives of generations of Vietnamese entrepreneurs, reflecting the colorful picture of economic and social life.
