Vietnam Oil and Gas Group supports Hai Duong with funding to build classrooms and houses for the poor.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang congratulated the production and business results of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and thanked the group for its contributions to social security work in Hai Duong.

Also attending were comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

The working delegation of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group included Mr. Le Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of the Group; and leaders of the Corporations: Petroleum Transportation Corporation (PVTrans); Vietnam Gas Joint Stock Company (PVGas); PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo); Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation ( PTSC ); Vietnam Oil (PVOil).

Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Le Manh Hung hopes to continue receiving cooperation from Hai Duong so that the group can have more opportunities to contribute to the community.

Speaking at the reception, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang expressed his joy when Hai Duong welcomed and worked with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group at the beginning of the new spring; at the same time, thanked the group for its affection and contributions to the province in social security work.

He congratulated the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group on its successes in production and business activities. The Group is not only one of the leading forces in the country's economic development but is also very active in community activities.

Introducing the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, General Director Le Manh Hung informed about the 5 main production and business areas: oil and gas exploration and exploitation; refining and petrochemical industry; electricity industry; gas industry; high-quality oil and gas services. In addition to production and business activities, with core values of aspiration, intelligence, professionalism and humanity, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group always pays attention to social security activities.

General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Le Manh Hung hopes to continue receiving cooperation from Hai Duong to have more opportunities to implement social security activities in the province, thereby contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang and General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Le Manh Hung and other leaders witnessed the reception of social security support funds for Ninh Giang district.

Also at the meeting, representatives of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group awarded 10 billion VND to support Ninh Giang district to build 2 projects: a 3-storey classroom building with 6 classrooms for Nghia An Kindergarten; a 2-storey classroom building with 8 classrooms for Hong Phong Primary School.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang and the delegation of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group had a working session with Thanh Ha district. The Group supported 14.3 billion VND in social security for this district.

On the same morning, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang and the delegation of the Oil and Gas Group had a working session with Thanh Ha district. Here, PVN representatives handed over 9.3 billion VND to support the construction of a 3-storey, 9-classroom building at Vinh Lap Secondary School (replacing the 6-classroom building built in 1990 that had deteriorated), and another 5 billion VND to support the construction of 100 "great solidarity" houses for poor households in the district. It is expected that these social security projects will be completed in 2024.
