Focus on site clearance, ensuring construction progress of key projects

DNO - On the afternoon of December 3, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang inspected the actual investment project to build Quang Da Bridge and the bridge approach road; and the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14B.

After listening to the report on the project implementation and site clearance, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang acknowledged and commended Hoa Vang district, the investor and contractor for being very active and proactive in site clearance, basically meeting the construction progress requirements.

It is important that the households affected by the project have consensus. Through the actual inspection of the Quang Da bridge project, the City Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the construction results ensuring the set progress.

We request to continue to be determined and strive to complete the remaining construction items before March 15, and to open the technical traffic on March 29. This is an important project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City.

The City Party Secretary requested departments, branches, sectors and the Hoa Vang district government to work with Dien Ban town of Quang Nam province and the Da Nang City People's Committee to work with the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee to unify the progress of the approach road to the bridge on the Quang Nam side so that the project can be completed synchronously.

Regarding the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14B, the City Party Secretary acknowledged and commended Hoa Vang district for its innovative approach and bold proposal to remove difficulties in site clearance for this project.

At the same time, the District People's Committee is requested to continue to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to focus on removing obstacles so that site clearance can be carried out according to the set plan, ensuring the rights of people in the clearance area.

After being handed over the site, investors and contractors need to focus on mobilizing human resources and machinery to speed up project progress, ensuring compliance with their commitments to the city.

Regarding the site clearance for the Quang Da bridge project and the bridge approach road, Hoa Vang district said that this project has a total of 155 files that need to be cleared.

Up to now, there have been 139 records of site handover; 16 records at the frontage of National Highway 14B have not been handed over, because households have requested compensation for residential land and resettlement for the land area in the traffic safety corridor that originated from residential land. Regarding the project of renovating and upgrading National Highway 14B, up to this point, 560/1,075 records have been completed to hand over the site, reaching 52.1%.

There are currently 515 files that have not yet handed over the land, the reason for the problem is that households have requested support for land and assets belonging to traffic corridor land; support for construction; and support for elevation differences.

It is known that the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 14B through the city has a length of 7.58km. The starting point is at Km 24+633 National Highway 14B in Hoa Nhon commune, adjacent to the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway interchange, the ending point is at Km 32+185.09 National Highway 14B in Hoa Khuong commune. The project has a total investment of more than 788 billion VND, implemented from 2022-2025.

The project started on November 25, 2023, with the Department of Transport as the investor. The Quang Da Bridge and approach road construction project started on December 14, 2023, and is expected to be completed in May 2025.
