Teerasak scored a hat-trick to help Thailand crush Taiwan.

Striker Teerasak Poeiphimai scored a hat-trick, helping Thailand crush Taiwan 6-1 on the night of October 14 in the fourth match of Group D of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

With superior strength, Thailand entered the match very confidently despite having to play away at Taipei Municipal Stadium. In the 4th minute, Teerasak broke the offside trap and beautifully chipped the ball past goalkeeper Huang Chiu Lin (Taiwan), to put Thailand ahead 1-0.

With the goal to break the deadlock, Thailand played with a more relaxed mentality and scored 2 more goals in the remaining time of the first half, by Ratree in the 25th minute and Sarachat in the 45+1 minute to lead 3-0.

This result almost decided the match. Then in the second half, Thailand had 3 more goals thanks to Teerasak (minutes 62, 76) and Huang Tzu-ming (own goal in minute 90+3).

Meanwhile, Taiwan also got an honorary goal by Kuo Po-wei in the 46th minute.

With a resounding 6-1 victory, Thailand temporarily rose to the top of Group D with 9 points.
