With the capital available, in 2019, Mr. Thien built a barn to raise free-range chickens. While working and accumulating experience, learning more knowledge through books, television, social networks and visiting and learning new economic models, Thien continued to invest in expanding the scale of the farm. Up to now, on the family's 2-hectare land area, he has invested in building a barn system to raise goats, chickens, snakehead fish, combined with planting many types of fruit trees such as jackfruit, guava, durian... Currently, his farm has a total of 100 guava trees, 25 durian trees, 1,500 commercial chickens, nearly 50 goats and more than 500 snakehead fish.

Mr. Thien has gradually built his farm to become more and more complete, developing production effectively. Up to now, after deducting expenses, the farm brings his family about 150 million VND each year. "Thanks to the encouragement of my family and local authorities, I have gradually overcome difficulties and achieved initial success. I hope to have access to preferential loans in the near future to invest in expanding the model, increasing income and creating more jobs for local workers," Mr. Thien shared.

In addition to actively participating in developing the farm economic model, Mr. Thien is also a pioneer in developing the forest economy. With the experience gained in the economic process, he is always willing to share and help union members and young people who have aspirations and ideas to get rich in the locality.

According to Deputy Secretary of Lao Bao Town Youth Union Nguyen Thi Tu Uyen, in recent times, many union members and young people in Lao Bao Town have promoted dynamism and creativity in finding new directions for economic development and getting rich. Many people have chosen to develop a farm model combining crop cultivation and livestock breeding.

In that movement, more and more effective economic development models led by union members and young people have emerged, contributing to the local socio-economic development. Mr. Thien's comprehensive farm model is one of the outstanding models. "Although it is still in the process of development, Mr. Thien's comprehensive farm has provided a stable income. In the coming time, the Lao Bao town Youth Union will connect union members and young people in the town to learn and replicate the model. At the same time, it will advise local leaders to find preferential loan sources to support union members and young people in the process of economic development, self-employment and career establishment," said Ms. Tu Uyen.

With the effort to overcome difficulties, the spirit of daring to think and do, and the determination to get rich on his homeland, Mr. Thien has demonstrated the pioneering spirit and bravery of youth in the current period, thereby contributing to encouraging union members and youth in Huong Hoa district to be proactive and self-reliant in developing the economy for themselves and their families, contributing to building an increasingly developed homeland.
