Removing difficulties for businesses investing in Ninh Dien commune

Leaders of Ninh Dien commune, Tay Ninh province recently had a working session and surveyed the Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Agricultural Processing Complex project to grasp the situation as well as the advantages and difficulties in the operation process.

Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khiem - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Bien Hoa - Thanh Long Joint Stock Company (investor) said that in 2005, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province approved the investment policy of the Industrial Processing Cluster west of the Vam Co Dong River in Nam Ben Soi Hamlet (old Thanh Long Commune). The project has an area of ​​37 hectares, with a total investment capital of 1,766 billion VND.

After 3 times of adjusting and supplementing the scale, total investment capital and implementation progress, by October 2024, Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Agricultural Processing Complex Project started construction. The scale includes: Construction of a packaging factory with a capacity of 3,500 tons/year; a warehouse with a scale of 20,000m2 ; a factory producing sugarcane juice and drinks from agricultural products, with a capacity of 120 million liters/year.

Construction area of ​​Thanh Thanh Cong Agricultural Processing Complex Project - Bien Hoa

Completion time: 4th quarter 2024 to 2nd quarter 2026. Particularly, the construction of the sugarcane juice and agricultural beverage factory will complete phase 1 in 2nd quarter 2026, phase 2 in 3rd quarter 2027.

Once operational, the processing complex will create jobs for 300 local and neighboring workers, including 150 unskilled workers and 150 highly skilled workers.

Ninh Dien commune leaders surveyed the actual construction progress of the Factory under the Project in Nam Ben Soi hamlet.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khiem added that during the implementation process, the project encountered a number of new problems due to major updates in technology, progress and costs.

Currently, the investor has submitted a dossier to adjust and supplement the project, the Department of Finance has sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the project progress extension. In addition, in February 2025, the Provincial People's Committee sent a document to the Prime Minister proposing to remove difficulties for the projects, including a proposal to approve the project progress extension.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khiem - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Bien Hoa - Thanh Long Joint Stock Company reported to Chairman of Ninh Dien Commune People's Committee Do Thanh Trung on the project construction progress.

On behalf of the leaders of Ninh Dien commune, Chairman of the People's Committee Do Thanh Trung highly appreciated the initiative of the project investor in the merger process and the initial phase of operating the new two-level government.

The factory producing sugarcane juice and beverages from agricultural products will complete phase 1 (50% capacity) in the second quarter of 2026.

This is one of two industrial projects contributing to the socio -economic development of Ninh Dien commune in the new period. The local government will always accompany the enterprise during the construction process as well as when the project is completed, put into production and business operations, creating stable jobs for the people./.
