Shark Binh in trouble

On October 7, according to sources, the Hanoi City Police Investigation Agency invited Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chairman of NextTech Group (Shark Binh), to work to verify the contents of the complaint.

According to records, on the afternoon of October 7, many police officers continuously entered building 18 Tam Trinh, where businessman Nguyen Hoa Binh 's company is headquartered.

Shark Binh’s company headquarters on the 3rd floor of building 18 Tam Trinh has a large number of police officers on duty. Many of the company’s employees are also present here to work with the authorities.

A building security guard said that since last night, October 6, the police were present at Shark Binh’s company headquarters. The police’s investigation lasted until today.

At the press conference of the Ministry of Public Security on the afternoon of October 6, Colonel Nguyen Duc Long, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police, said that the city police had received a report related to the AntEx cryptocurrency project.

According to Colonel Nguyen Duc Long, as soon as public opinion on social networks and the press reported information about many people losing money because of participating in the AntEx digital currency project as well as the Chairman of NextTech Group Shark Binh (Nguyen Hoa Binh) and the development team of the AntEx digital currency had accusations against each other, causing a stir on social networks, the Hanoi City Police Department directed professional units to grasp the situation, verify and strictly handle it according to the law.

Through reviewing crime reporting sources, Hanoi City Police Department reported receiving 1 case with a complaint related to investment in the AntEx cryptocurrency project.

Mr. LNH in Ninh Binh sent a complaint with a loss of 2,000 USD (equivalent to 47 million VND).

Hanoi City Police affirmed that all those who file criminal complaints will be received and handled by the City Police according to regulations, in the spirit of "no exceptions, no forbidden zones".

During the livestream on September 26 with the topic "Crypto Assets - Opportunities and Risks", Chairman of NextTech Group Shark Binh made many comments that quickly received public attention.

After that, the AntEx Blockchain project was recalled by the community. AntEx once raised millions of dollars in capital but then collapsed, causing many investors to lose everything.

Notably, the project has the participation of NextTech/Next100 fund founded by Shark Binh as an investor.

The AntEx cryptocurrency project (AntEx token) was launched around September 2021 and was introduced as a "Make in Vietnam" Blockchain ecosystem with the ambition of building a decentralized exchange, e-wallet and many digital financial applications. However, just a short time after its launch, AntEx cryptocurrency continuously plummeted, losing almost all of its value, causing many investors to suffer heavy losses.
