New information on the case of a 3-year-old girl being taken away from kindergarten by an 18-year-old girl

(NLDO)- Two teachers were temporarily suspended from work for 15 days for violating the commitment to ensure children's safety at school.

On the morning of January 15, the Principal of Thien Huong Kindergarten (Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong ) announced that he had issued a decision to temporarily suspend work for two teachers involved in the case of children being lost at the school.

According to this decision, two teachers were temporarily suspended from work for 15 days due to their previous violations of the commitment to ensure children's safety at school, specifically causing children to be lost.

Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , on the afternoon of January 13, at Thien Huong Kindergarten, a girl came in to play with the children in the school yard. After that, this girl led the girl NTM (born in 2021) out of the school.

Late in the afternoon, NTM's family came to pick up the child and was informed by the teacher that a young girl had picked him up. After confirming that no relatives were authorized to pick up the child, the family reported the matter to the police.

Child NTM and suspect Dong Thi Ha Thu were found on Cau Dat Street, about 12 km from the kindergarten where the child studied.

Upon receiving the information, the authorities promptly took action, extracted the camera system and determined that after leading the girl out of the school yard, the girl took a taxi to Tran Nguyen Han Street, Le Chan District (Hai Phong City), about 20 km from Thien Huong Kindergarten and lost track.

During the verification process, the police identified the suspect who took the child as Dong Thi Ha Thu (born 2007, residing in Hoang Lam ward, Thuy Nguyen city).

At 3:30 p.m. on January 14, the forces coordinated with the people to find NTM and suspect Dong Thi Ha Thu on Cau Dat Street, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City, about 12 km from the kindergarten where the child studied.

Currently, Dong Thi Ha Thu is being detained to serve the investigation.
