The valedictorian of block A00 said that since primary school, he has had a special interest in Math and natural sciences. He loves these subjects because he wants to explore logic, practice critical thinking and satisfy his desire to learn about nature.

After winning first prize in the 2021-2022 provincial excellent student competition, Mai was directly admitted to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted. Nguyen Le Hien Mai said that her secret to studying is that after school hours, she spends time at home focusing on studying deeply and thoroughly understanding the knowledge, thereby finding connections to solve all the questions.

Hanoi has two valedictorians of block A00 with perfect scores of 30/30: Nguyen Duy Phong, a 12A5 student at Chuong My A High School, and Nguyen Tu Quyet, a 12A9 student at Nguyen Gia Thieu High School.

Previously, Nguyen Duy Phong was the valedictorian of the Hanoi National University’s aptitude test with 130/150 points. In March, the male student also scored 90.54/100 points in the Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s thinking assessment, ranking 4th out of nearly 19,000 candidates.
