Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offers incense to late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong

On the evening of January 27 (28th of Lunar New Year), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and offered incense to the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong and wished a happy new year to the late Prime Minister's family in Hanoi .

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense and expressed his deep respect for the late Prime Minister - a staunch proletarian revolutionary soldier; one of the key leaders and predecessors of the Vietnamese revolution; with great contributions to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

During 75 years of continuous revolutionary activities, 41 years as a member of the Party Central Committee, 35 years as a member of the Politburo, 32 years as Prime Minister, 10 years as Advisor to the Party Central Committee, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong made many great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Prime Minister Pham Van Dong's career spanned many fields from politics, economics, culture, society to national defense, security...

Especially with two times as head of the negotiating delegation at Fontainebleau, France (in 1946) and Geneva, Switzerland (in 1954), contributing to ending the war and restoring peace in Indochina.

With his dedication to the nation's revolutionary cause with a pure, impartial, and objective heart, the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong received the love and respect of all classes of people in the country and international friends.

The invaluable legacies left by Prime Minister Pham Van Dong and previous leaders are being preserved and promoted by our entire Party, people and army, and many important achievements have been achieved; the whole country is ready and confident to enter a new era - an era of development, prosperity, civilization, and power, with people increasingly prosperous and happy.
