Thanh Hoa Tax determined to complete the year plan

Overcoming economic challenges, Thanh Hoa Tax Department has just announced the state budget revenue in the first 9 months of 2025 with results increasing by more than 2,600 billion VND compared to the same period last year.

This figure not only demonstrates the outstanding efforts of the entire industry but also reflects the companionship and support from the business community and people, creating a solid momentum for the Tax industry to comprehensively complete its annual tasks.

Budget revenue in 9 months exceeds 28,900 billion VND

According to a report from Thanh Hoa Provincial Tax Department, the local budget revenue situation in the past 9 months has had very positive changes. Specifically, the revenue of 28,944 billion VND has reached 110.2% of the central budget estimate and 105.3% of the local budget estimate, and is equal to 110% compared to the same period in 2024.

In the revenue structure, land revenue continues to play an important role as land use fees reached 13,013 billion VND, accounting for 45% of total revenue and increasing sharply by 2,101 billion VND compared to the same period. Total budget revenue (after deducting land use fees) also recorded stable growth, reaching 15,895 billion VND. This result reflects the efforts of the Tax sector in effectively exploiting revenue sources, ensuring resources for local socio -economic development.

According to Thanh Hoa Tax, the results achieved come from the resonance of many factors. In particular, the tax sector has effectively operated the new organizational model after reorganization and consolidation, creating a streamlined and transparent apparatus. Along with that, there is the great effort and determination of all civil servants and employees in synchronously implementing tasks.

Another important factor is the growing consensus from taxpayers. The report shows that the number of complaints and recommendations from people and businesses has decreased significantly, demonstrating trust in tax policies and the management work of the authorities. Thanh Hoa Tax leaders also emphasized that each civil servant needs to continue to improve their sense of responsibility, minimize risks in performing public duties, towards the goal of "peace of mind and safety", thereby best completing the tasks assigned by the Party and the State.

Speed ​​up the mission

According to the Head of Thanh Hoa Province Tax Nguyen Van Thuy, for many consecutive years, Thanh Hoa has maintained its position as one of the 10 localities with the highest budget revenue in the country. Therefore, the provincial Tax sector needs to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, discipline, and determination to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the province and the sector.

In addition to the many bright spots in budget collection, the Thanh Hoa province Tax Department is still facing a number of difficulties and challenges. At some grassroots units, debt management and business household management are not really proactive. To successfully complete the budget collection plan for the whole year 2025, the last months of the year are identified as an important sprint period.

Head of Thanh Hoa Province Tax Department Nguyen Van Thuy emphasized that the Tax sector needs to focus on a series of key tasks, requiring the decisive participation of each unit. Accordingly, propaganda and support for taxpayers will continue to be promoted through a variety of channels from newspapers, radio to digital platforms.

In particular, Thanh Hoa Tax will develop a comprehensive communication plan on the policy of abolishing lump-sum tax from January 1, 2026 so that people and businesses can quickly grasp it. At the same time, units are required to regularly review and deeply analyze the collection situation at each commune and ward to determine the collection potential and avoid lax management.

Regarding tax inspection work, the whole industry needs to focus on overcoming limitations, enhancing responsibility, ensuring correct and sufficient collection, and understanding of arising economic operations; striving to complete the inspection plan for 2025. In debt management, local tax agencies need to further enhance their sense of responsibility, propose organizational methods associated with mass mobilization work, and overcome shortcomings.
