Finding solutions to promote the revenue target of 1 billion USD for the Vietnamese gaming industry

Vietnam Game Forum 2024 attracts young people

On May 11 and 12, 2024, under the direction of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, VnExpress Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Game Alliance andFPT Online Services Joint Stock Company organized Vietnam Game Festival - Vietnam GameVerse 2024.

With the theme Beyond the game, the program includes many activities to create opportunities for units and individuals in the game field to meet, exchange and entertain; create an environment for production and distribution businesses to introduce and promote games to the market; connect domestic and foreign game businesses with investors. The event is expected to attract about 40,000 participants with activities expanded in scale and quality compared to the first season.

One of the important activities to open this year's program is the Vietnam Game Forum 2024 with the theme "The billion-dollar journey of the Vietnamese game industry" with the participation of representatives of management agencies, businesses, production units, publishers and leading experts in the game industry in Vietnam and internationally such as Google, Meta, Roblox, VNGGames, VTC, Amanotes... where experts and guests discuss mechanisms and solutions to promote the early achievement of the revenue target of 1 billion USD for the Vietnamese game industry.

Along with the Vietnam Game Forum, the Vietnam Game Festival has attractive activities including the Vietnam Game Awards 2024, which honors products, services, communities and individuals with outstanding achievements in the game field in 2023; GameHub Finals, a program that helps game developers promote and attract investors to support new game projects to improve quality and quickly reach the market.

In addition, during the two main event days, the Organizing Committee will reserve space and time slots to conduct business connection activities, meet foreign game developers, thereby actively promoting connection, cooperation and investment between units in the game ecosystem in Vietnam and internationally...
