Organizing a parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Nam province

The Provincial People's Committee said that the organization of the parade and march aims to propagate to cadres and people the great significance of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, to review the heroic tradition of the army and people in the resistance war against the invading American imperialists; to promote the tradition of brave and resilient revolutionary struggle in the resistance wars to save the country as well as in the cause of building the homeland and defending the Fatherland.

In addition, the great achievements in 50 years of construction and development of the army and people of Quang Nam province; the growth and maturity of the armed forces, all levels and sectors of the province in the cause of innovation and development of the heroic homeland of Quang Nam were commended.

According to the plan, the participating forces include 24 parade groups (65 people each), 7 parade groups (66 people each) and 23 flower floats of departments, branches, enterprises and district-level People's Committees; in addition, there is the participation of the Military Band of Military Region 5 and an honor guard of 20 officers and soldiers of the Quang Nam Provincial Military Command.

Taking place at 24/3 Square on the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam Liberation, the parade will pass through the streets of Tam Ky City following the route: Hung Vuong - Tran Phu - Phan Boi Chau - Trung Nu Vuong - Hung Vuong.
