The project to build Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat Airport, invested by Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), will start construction at the end of 2022 with a total investment of nearly VND11,000 billion and a construction period of 24 months.

Contractors also divided the area into small sections for rolling construction, working in two shifts a day (from 6am to 10pm, except for concrete and material transportation and waste disposal work that operates overnight). Mr. Nguyen Van Minh (48 years old, from An Giang ) said: "Currently, the contractor is speeding up the progress, so many of us will stay and work through Tet. Some others, like me, who returned to their hometowns to celebrate Tet with their families, will also be mobilized to return to the construction site soon." According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan, Director of the T3 Terminal Project Management Board, the entire project will be completed in about 15 months. “To shorten the progress, the construction site must work during Tet; the contractor has already prepared this plan.
