The whole province has 9 model points of 'Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans', 'Collecting and classifying waste at source'

QTO - Information from the Women's Union of Quang Tri province on October 7 said that, up to now, the whole province has 9 pilot models of "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans", "Collecting and classifying waste at source" in 8 districts, towns and cities with 287 households voluntarily participating. Of which, 95 households have put up signs "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans", "Clean house, model garden"; 100% of households participating in the model collect and classify waste at source.

The above models have contributed to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction (NTM) for the 2021-2025 period, serving as a basis for proposing to include the criteria of "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans" in the set of criteria for advanced NTM communes and model NTM communes in Quang Tri province in the next period.

Previously, the Provincial Women's Union surveyed and assessed the current situation and needs of women members and households in communes achieving advanced NTM and model NTM; selected and launched pilot models of "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans", "Collection and classification of waste at source" at the provincial level; directed 8/8 districts, towns and cities (old) to build pilot models of "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans", "Collection and classification of waste at source" at the district level; organized a preliminary review of the model.

Thereby, clearly evaluate the results achieved as well as the difficulties and limitations in the process of implementing the model and develop solutions to operate the model to ensure sustainability in the coming time to evaluate and learn from experience for replication.
