Implementing the policy of adjusting the management scope of Agribank in Yen Bai province, Agribank Bac Yen Bai Branch was officially established and put into operation from October 20, 2019 (according to Decision No. 834/QD-HDTV-TCTL of Agribank's Board of Members). The branch operates under the Law on Credit Institutions and the Charter of Agribank, is a type I, class I branch, headquartered at No. 133, Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province.
Agribank Bac Yen Bai Branch is a branch of Agribank - a state-owned commercial bank, playing a key role in the agricultural and rural sector. As of September 30, 2025, the branch has 15 transaction points and 1 mobile transaction point using specialized cars, with 211 officers and employees serving customers throughout the area. Total mobilized capital reached VND 6,833 billion, up 14.5% compared to the beginning of the year; outstanding loans reached VND 10,624 billion, up 10%, of which outstanding loans for agriculture and rural areas accounted for 66.2% of total outstanding loans, credit quality ensured safety. The bad debt ratio is controlled at 0.3%, reflecting risk management capacity, reputation and sustainable operational efficiency.
