Summary of activities of industrial parks and clusters in 2024

On December 19, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board held a conference to review the activities of industrial parks and industrial clusters in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.

The Provincial Industrial Park Management Board currently manages 12 industrial parks approved by the Government (of which 4 have been put into operation) and 2 industrial clusters of Dong Lang and Bach Hac, attracting 197 investment and production enterprises. In 2024, although the world economy has many complex fluctuations, enterprises still basically ensure stable production. The revenue of enterprises in 2024 is estimated at 90,000 billion VND, equal to 138% compared to the same period in 2023; the State budget contribution is estimated at 1,800 billion VND; the export value is estimated at over 15 billion USD; creating jobs for over 62,000 workers with an average income of 7.5 million VND/person/month.

Along with promoting production and business, enterprises pay attention to implementing labor law policies, proactively implementing grassroots democracy regulations, and directly dialogue with employees. Up to now, 104 enterprises have grassroots trade unions with nearly 53,000 union members; over 85% of employees participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.

In 2025, some key targets were determined by the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board: Revenue of enterprises is about 135,000 billion VND; payment to the State budget is about 2,000 billion VND; creating jobs for 68,000 workers with an average income of 7.6 million VND/person/month. To achieve the set targets, the Management Board has set out a number of key tasks: Strengthening investment promotion, proactively attracting large corporations, enterprises, and modern technology projects; coordinating with agencies and enterprises to grasp and promptly resolve difficulties and problems of enterprises, creating maximum conditions for enterprises to operate; strengthening post-investment inspection and supervision of projects in industrial parks...

At the conference, 16 outstanding enterprises received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board.
