Responding to the petition of Cao Bang province voters on approving the "Project on special mechanisms and policies for the development of Ban Gioc Waterfall tourist area"

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism received a petition from voters of Cao Bang province sent after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, transferred by the National Assembly's Committee for Petitions and Supervision according to Official Dispatch No. 1099/UBDNGS15 dated July 29, 2025 with the following content:

"On July 11, 2024, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province issued Document No. 1756/TTr-UBND on approving the "Project on Special Mechanisms and Policies for the Development of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area" to the Prime Minister. Cao Bang voters requested to advise the Prime Minister to soon approve the above Project, so that Cao Bang province can organize and implement it".

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism has responded to voters.

The Ministry's e-portal publishes the full text of the response of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism according to Official Dispatch No. 4942/BVHTTDL-VP dated September 24, 2025 regarding the response to voters' petitions sent after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly as follows:

On August 26, 2024, the Government Office issued Official Dispatch No. 6100/VPCP-KGVX notifying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long regarding the Project on specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area as proposed by the People's Committee of Cao Bang province in Submission No. 1756/TTr-UBND dated July 11, 2024. Accordingly, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (now the Ministry of Finance) was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant ministries and agencies to study and comment on the draft Project on specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area as proposed by the People's Committee of Cao Bang province in Submission No. 1756/TTr-UBND mentioned above and report to the Prime Minister.

Regarding the above content, at the request of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (now the Ministry of Finance) in Official Dispatch No. 7248/BKHĐT-KTDPLT dated September 10, 2024 and based on the functions, tasks and scope of management of the field, on October 15, 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Official Dispatch No. 4491/BVHTTDL-DLQGVN on giving comments on the Project on Special Mechanisms and Policies for the Development of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area, Cao Bang Province to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (now the Ministry of Finance) and requested to study, synthesize, complete the report, and submit it to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism respectfully sends this to the National Assembly Delegation of Cao Bang province to respond to voters./.
