The campaign calling for creativity and spreading meaningful, positive, and inspirational videos about the history, culture, and people of Vietnam through the hashtags #ProudVietnam, #RangRoVietNam, and #TetDocLap has attracted a strong response from the content creation community.
The campaign was implemented by the Press Department - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with TikTok Vietnam with the theme: "I love my Fatherland - 80 years of a radiant Vietnam".
According to statistics from TikTok Vietnam, by 3:00 p.m. on September 1, the platform recorded hundreds of thousands of videos responding to the campaign, with billions of views.
Of which, hashtag #TuHaoVietNam has 163,178 videos, 4.3 billion views; #ToQuocTrongTim has 31,355 videos, 897 million views; #ToiYeuToQuocToi has 14,787 videos, 457 million views; #TetDocLap: 32,590 videos, 204 million views; #RangRoVietNam: 263,845 videos, 634 million views, 9.2 million likes and more than 483,000 shares.
By the end of September 4, the hashtag #RangRoVietNam alone had recorded more than 602,000 videos with more than 1 billion views, more than 28 million likes and more than 1.5 million shares to other platforms.
Patriotic video on TikTok channel of press agency causes a storm in online community
Notably, not only individuals but also press agencies actively participated in the campaign with many videos about touching and inspirational stories, spreading national pride.
On the TikTok channel of the Lao Dong Newspaper, more than 60 videos with the hashtag #RangRoVietNam have achieved high views, including one video with more than 8.6 million views up to this point.

The social networking sites of the press agencies have spread the story of a man cycling from Nghe An to Hanoi , carrying the medals of his deceased veteran father, wishing his father to witness the A80 ceremony; the story of a veteran in Quang Ngai going to Hanoi to watch the parade, and being supported with free accommodation by young people; the story of people preparing water and meals for their compatriots...
