Awarding 3.9 billion VND to support the construction and repair of houses for meritorious people in Minh Xuan ward

On October 15, the People's Committee of Minh Xuan Ward organized a fund-raising ceremony to support people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives who have built or repaired houses according to Resolution No. 212/NQ-HDND dated June 26, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council. The total amount of support awarded in this period is 3.9 billion VND.

Leaders of Minh Xuan Ward People's Committee awarded funds to support the construction and repair of houses for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs.

After the merger, in Minh Xuan ward, there are 106 people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs who have built or repaired houses from 2013 to December 31, 2024, but have not received support. Of these, there are 29 cases of new house construction and 77 cases of house repair. Up to now, 103 people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs have been approved by the province for support according to Resolution 212/NQ-HDND with a total budget of 3.9 billion VND. Currently, there are 3 cases of people with meritorious services that have not been approved by the province for financial support. Minh Xuan Ward People's Committee continues to complete the dossier and submit it to competent authorities for consideration and resolution as soon as possible.

Speaking at the funding handover ceremony, the leader of Minh Xuan Ward People's Committee emphasized that the funding for housing support not only has material significance, helping families improve their living conditions, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement. This activity demonstrates the deep gratitude and responsibility of the Party, State and the whole society for the noble contributions and sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

This is a practical and humane activity, continuing to affirm the nation's morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking", contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party and State's policies and guidelines; at the same time, it is a motivation for households to continue to strive to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.
