Presenting nearly 4,000 Mid-Autumn gifts to children in difficult circumstances

Joining the bustling atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, from the beginning of the 8th lunar month until now (August 14th of the lunar calendar), Ba Tien Pagoda (Quan Am Monastery) has coordinated with the Lam Dong Red Cross Society to organize a charity program, bringing joy to children in difficult circumstances in and outside the province.

The program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love" has given away a total of nearly 4,000 gifts, worth 200,000 VND each, with a total cost of nearly 800 million VND, contributed by Buddhists of Ba Tien Pagoda.

Each gift includes practical items such as milk, cakes, lanterns and teddy bears, bringing complete joy to children facing many difficulties.

Not only did they receive gifts, they also got to enjoy interesting circus performances.

Accordingly, the gifts were given in: Duc Trong commune and Hiep Thanh commune: 2,000 gifts; Da Nang city: 1,000 gifts and Quang Ngai province: 1,000 gifts.
