With the message "Giving kindness, spreading love", Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance (PHI) has widely implemented the program of giving health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances. This activity not only contributes to expanding health insurance coverage, realizing the goal of universal health insurance, but also spreads humanistic values ​​in the community, creating conditions for more and more people in difficult circumstances to participate and enjoy health insurance policies.

Continuing the humanitarian journey, recently, the provincial Social Insurance organized the donation of 110 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Hop Kim commune. Each card given is a practical act of sharing, helping people in difficult circumstances feel secure in medical examination and treatment, reducing the burden of hospital fees, at the same time lighting up faith, hope and encouraging the spirit of overcoming difficulties.

As one of the cases awarded the health insurance card in this period, Ms. Quach Thi Nghia in Hop Kim commune emotionally shared: “My family still has many shortages so we have not had the conditions to participate in health insurance before. When I received the health insurance card from the program, I was truly grateful. For me, this is not only a health care card but also a support to reduce worries when I am sick or ill.”

Aiming at the goal of universal health insurance coverage so that all people can receive health care, the provincial Social Insurance always strives to synchronously deploy solutions to develop health insurance participants. Along with proactively advising Party committees and authorities to implement solutions to expand health insurance coverage, the provincial Social Insurance strengthens coordination with departments, branches, sectors and organizations to promote propaganda to raise people's awareness of health insurance policies; coordinates with the health sector to strengthen solutions to improve the quality of health insurance examination and treatment; promotes administrative reform, digital transformation, improves the quality of service to the people, and ensures the rights of participants. Up to now, the whole province has about 3.3 million people participating in health insurance, reaching a rate of 94.3%.

In addition to successfully completing assigned political tasks, Phu Tho Social Insurance always actively responds to patriotic emulation movements and implements social security and humanitarian charity activities. The program of giving health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances is a traditional activity with profound humanistic meaning, which has been implemented by the provincial Social Insurance for many years. The cards awarded are not only a material sharing but also a spiritual encouragement, contributing to motivating and encouraging people in difficult circumstances to make more efforts, overcome current difficulties, gradually stabilize their finances to continue participating in health insurance for themselves and help others to participate, contributing to creating peace of mind and deep trust of people in the social security policies of the Party and State; spreading and conveying good, humane values, promoting the tradition of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the Vietnamese people.

To effectively implement the program, every year, the provincial Social Insurance issues a plan, organizes the launch, and promotes the propaganda about the meaning of the program. In addition to the funding contributed by civil servants, public employees, and workers in the entire industry, the provincial Social Insurance actively promotes, mobilizes, and receives support from philanthropists, organizations, and businesses, helping more and more people in difficult circumstances to receive health insurance cards. With the message "Giving kindness, spreading love", up to now, the provincial Social Insurance has coordinated with sponsors to give thousands of health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances. Of which, since the beginning of the year, 338 health insurance cards have been given with a total value of 225 million VND.

The health insurance card donation program has created a strong influence, mobilizing businesses, organizations and kind-hearted individuals to join hands to support funding, contributing to the goal of universal health insurance, creating conditions for more and more people in difficult circumstances to participate in health care, ensuring social security and spreading the humanistic value of the health insurance policy.

In the coming time, the provincial Social Insurance will continue to synchronously deploy solutions to improve efficiency, deepen the program of giving health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances, and create a strong spread. The focus is to continue to effectively carry out propaganda, advocacy, and mobilize resources to join hands to help more and more people in difficult circumstances participate in health insurance; coordinate with localities in reviewing, making lists, and promptly supporting difficult cases. At the same time, promote communication activities to bring health insurance policies into life.
