The delegation gave 7.5 million VND to 10 households. The money was used to help poor and near-poor households severely affected by storms and floods repair and build new houses. The total value of 75 million VND was sponsored by the Tuyen Quang Association in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Due to the direct impact of prolonged heavy rains and floods from upstream, Yen Phu commune has suffered severe damage over a large area. The initial total damage is estimated at about 21 billion VND. Of which, 29 houses had their roofs blown off and were severely damaged; 28 households in Ngoa village were urgently evacuated; over 70% of the area of cultivated land, rice, corn, crops and fruit trees were damaged; 19 inter-village and inter-hamlet concrete roads were eroded with a volume of 152.1m³....
