Deploying training on measuring the DDCI Index in 2023 in Tien Hai district

On the morning of August 10, the Provincial Business Association and the consulting unit coordinated with the People's Committee of Tien Hai district to organize a conference to deploy the plan and provide training on measuring the Competitiveness Index of Thai Binh province's departments, branches, districts and cities (DDCI) on a technology platform in 2023 for businesses in Tien Hai district. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Xuan Khanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Tien Hai District Party Committee and comrades of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments, branches and sectors of the district.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Business Association thoroughly grasped a number of tasks as required by Plan No. 84/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the measurement of the DDCI Index in 2023, and emphasized that the DDCI is an important tool to help the provincial Party Committee and government grasp the current situation of economic management of departments, branches and localities, promptly direct the correction of shortcomings, contributing to enhancing competitiveness, improving the province's investment and business environment, helping investment attraction activities flourish and creating favorable conditions for businesses to invest, produce and develop. In order for the survey of the DDCI Index to achieve high results, the Provincial Business Association hopes that businesses will focus on researching and acquiring practical skills in surveying the DDCI on the digital technology platform that the consulting unit has disseminated and trained.

At the conference, nearly 200 enterprises of Tien Hai district were informed by the consulting unit about basic knowledge about measuring the DDCI Index on a digital technology platform, the advantages and benefits when enterprises conduct surveys on devices such as computers, tablets, and smartphones with internet connection. In particular, enterprises were given specific instructions on the steps, procedures, and operations when participating in the online DDCI survey, scoring electronic survey questions in the DDCI survey software integrated on the Electronic Information Portal at "www.ddcithaibinh.vn".

The leaders of Tien Hai District People's Committee hope that after the training, the enterprises selected to participate in the DDCI survey will promote a sense of responsibility, objectivity and impartiality in scoring the component indicators to accurately reflect the current state of economic management and operation of state management agencies. The DDCI results will help the district clearly identify the advantages to promote, the shortcomings and limitations to focus on overcoming, and aim to create the most favorable investment and business environment for people and enterprises.
