What's interesting about the Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space Exhibition 2025?

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Hanoi will organize the Traditional and Creative Space Exhibition 2025 from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh commune.

The exhibition covers an area of about 15,000 square meters of the East yard of the National Exhibition Center, within the framework of the exhibition of the country's 80-year socio-economic achievements.

The event promises to bring residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the unique blend of traditional cultural heritage and modern creative spirit, while honoring the beauty, values and cultural identity of Thang Long-Hanoi.

With the theme “Quintessence of Thang Long,” the exhibition organizes 6 main thematic spaces, arranged as a continuous flow from the past, present to the future, to honor the quintessence that has shaped the cultural identity of Thang Long, while converging and spreading creative ideas, pioneering spirit and aspirations of the Capital.

All the quintessence of the craft village, from history to products and the talented hands of the artisans, are displayed in the first space: The space for performing artisans of the craft village with the theme "Quintessence of the craft street."

Next is the Handicraft Exhibition Space with the theme "Imprint of Thang Long." Visitors can not only admire Hanoi's unique handicraft products, from ceramics, rattan, embroidery to carved wooden products, but can also directly observe the product manufacturing stages performed by artisans.

Meanwhile, the Creative Space with the theme "Pioneering Technology" displays products applying modern technology, creative designs and new ideas, demonstrating the spirit of constant innovation of the capital's people.

Outdoor spaces with themes such as "Back to the heritage land," "Village in the city..." help visitors learn about the historical and cultural values and important relics of the capital through many periods.

This is also an opportunity for young people, especially students, to connect with history and gain a deeper understanding of their cultural roots.

Particularly attractive is the Culinary Space with the theme "The Delicious Taste of Hanoi," honoring dishes that have contributed to shaping the culinary cultural identity of Thang Long land such as Com Vong, candied fruit, Bach Diep lotus seed of West Lake, traditional Hanoi candy, Lam sweet soup, Bang An sweet soup, etc.

Tourists and people of the capital will also experience and understand more about Hanoi's intangible cultural heritage through Xam singing performances - the theme of Thang Long; Trach Xa Ao Dai fashion show; Tuong excerpt performances...

The organizers said the Exhibition is open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily and admission is free, to encourage everyone, especially young people, to experience, learn and feel the beauty of traditional culture combined with modern creativity.

The exhibition is not only an opportunity to promote and introduce cultural values, but also an opportunity for Hanoi to demonstrate its pioneering role in heritage preservation while promoting creativity and innovation.
