Based on the tentative list, through the preliminary and final rounds, the Jury approved the official nomination list of 11 nominees, in 4 categories.

Participating in this category are a series of lacquer paintings by artist Chu Nhat Quang in the exhibitions "Sacred Marks" and "Independence Spring" - Chu Nhat Quang's first two large-scale lacquer exhibitions held consecutively during two major anniversaries of the country.

This continuity shows the enduring creativity and admirable dedication of a 9X artist who chose to embark on a difficult path: large-scale lacquer, one piece, not assembled. But more importantly, in that journey, Chu Nhat Quang sought cultural-historical values as a spiritual “anchor”, from which to convey the love and responsibility of the young generation to the nation’s roots.

Also related to painting, a series of paintings about Hanoi by artist Pham Binh Chuong in the 20 years of "Going to the Street" was also nominated.

With the exhibition "Xuong pho" in 2004, artist Pham Binh Chuong has made his mark as a painter of Hanoi. Deep within the strange strokes, the tight shapes, the perfect compositions are cultural stories, the changes of the times that only those who love Hanoi very much, who constantly think about Hanoi, can see, and then use the language of painting to express.

Also participating in the Work Award is the book “Hanoi Architecture - Vietnamese-French Cultural Exchange” by The Gioi Publishing House, AA Architecture Construction Joint Stock Company and associates. The author who compiled the content is Dr.-Architect Tran Quoc Bao (lecturer at Hanoi University of Construction) and a large team of young people participating in design, illustration, photography and translation.

The book is bilingual in Vietnamese and French, conceived and produced in Vietnam by Vietnamese people, with the support of some French friends.

Architect Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, believes that the book has an important contribution: "Awakening" the urban architectural heritage in Hanoi in a worthy and attractive way. The book brings together the intelligence and talent of the group of authors to create an artistic product with both rich and scientific content and a romantic form.

This year's Work Award category also includes the musical "Fire from the Earth" (Youth Theater).

The work is considered an epic about Hanoi in the 1930s and the people who made history. The center of the play is the portrait of comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vu - the first official Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee. Through this image, the musical not only tells the story of an ideal historical figure but also depicts the growth of the Communist Party of Vietnam from its early days.

Nominations for the Job Award include: The initial project to revive the To Lich River; The National Exhibition and Fair Center - a new "wonder" in Hanoi, a construction miracle in Vietnam; The restoration of two outdoor reliefs on Hang Long Street (Cua Nam Ward).
