Actress Zhao Wei and her companies were ordered to serve their sentences by a court in Hangzhou.

According to Ifeng On November 19, Zhao Wei and Long Wei Tibet Culture Media Company and Xiang Yuan Culture and Tourism Company were forced to pay a fine of 8,488 yuan (nearly 30 million VND). The court also forced the two companies to pay 5,689 yuan (about 20 million VND).

Of which, Long Vy Tay Tang was established in 2016, Trieu Vy holds 95% of shares. Meanwhile, Tuong Nguyen company (old name: Van Gia Culture), is owned by Trieu Vy and her husband - businessman Huynh Huu Long.

The enforcement decision is related to Long Vy Company being involved in more than 400 legal liability disputes due to providing false information in securities transactions.

The series of disputes began in 2017 and have continued to this day. At the end of 2017, the China Securities Regulatory Commission announced the results of its investigation into Long Wei Cultural Media Company, a couple who violated the law by using financial leverage, transferring shares, falsifying business data, and establishing a ghost company.

Authorities determined that the actions of the actor couple seriously affected the stock market environment, damaged the confidence of small and medium-sized investors, and affected the transparency and fairness of the stock market. Authorities asked Trieu Vy and Huynh Huu Long to correct their mistakes and pay a fine of 600,000 yuan (2.1 billion VND) each. In addition, they prohibited enter the market within 5 years.

According to The Beijing News , Zhao Wei and her husband once owned assets worth about 700 million USD (as of 2019) thanks to investments, real estate business, wine, film production.
