Exhibition "Forever the Triumphant Song" about the heroic history of Hanoi

The exhibition “Forever the Triumphant Song” will take place at Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site on October 2, towards the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).

The Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board said that the opening ceremony will take place solemnly with the incense offering ceremony, commemorating heroes, martyrs, righteous men, and patriots at the Memorial. After that, visitors will experience the exhibition space with three themes: "Persistence and perseverance", " Hanoi - the day of victory" and "The fragrance and colors of Hanoi". The highlight is the artistic scene recreating the jubilant atmosphere of the day the victorious army returned, with the presence of historical witnesses and relatives of soldiers who directly participated in taking over the capital.

The exhibition section “Perseverance” recalls the fiery days of late 1946, when the army and people of Hanoi heroically rose up to respond to President Ho Chi Minh ’s call for national resistance. With rudimentary weapons but indomitable will, the people of Hanoi turned every street corner and roof into a fortress, holding back the enemy for 60 days and nights, creating the heroic epic “Determined to die for the survival of the Fatherland”.

The section “Hanoi - the day of victory” recreates the historic moment of October 10, 1954, when the victorious army entered the capital amid a sea of ​​flags and flowers and the people's overwhelming joy. Before that, the work of taking over the city had been carefully prepared, preserving the infrastructure and social order, so that Hanoi could return intact to the arms of the revolution.

The section “The Fragrance of Hanoi” brings the cultural beauty, tradition and unique identity of the Capital – where the quintessence of thousands of years converges, the interweaving of the ancient and the modern. This is also a message affirming the responsibility of today’s generation in preserving and promoting historical and cultural values, continuing the golden history of the “Heroic Capital”, “City for Peace ”.

The thematic exhibition "Forever the Triumphant Song" is a profound tribute to those who sacrificed for the Fatherland and the Capital, and at the same time affirms Hanoi's aspiration to rise up and spread the message of peace and friendship in the integration period.

The museum is expected to be open until November 2025.
