In addition, this morning a low pressure area formed in the South China Sea, located at approximately 06N-111E. This low pressure area tends to move slowly to the West and does not rule out the possibility of strengthening into a tropical depression. Information on strong winds, big waves, and heavy thunderstorms in these sea areas is continuously updated by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
