Every Mid-Autumn Festival, when the full moon shines across the mountains and forests, joy spreads to remote villages. For children in the highlands - where there are many difficulties and deprivations, Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a time for fun, but also an opportunity for them to feel the care and love from the community. The programs of breaking cakes, carrying lanterns and simple, meaningful gifts have brought happiness and lit up the faith in the children's childhood.

In Tan Tien village, Trinh Tuong commune, the program "Border full moon festival" organized by Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station in coordination with philanthropists brought a warm and joyful festival.
Border guards transported gifts to the village, joined the children in carrying lanterns, breaking the cake, enjoying the performances, especially the vibrant lion dance - something many children in the highlands here witnessed for the first time.

The innocent smiles, eager eyes and hearty laughter of the children became a source of motivation for the soldiers in green uniforms to continue their mission of protecting the border, keeping the area peaceful, continuing charity programs, and joining hands to support people in eliminating hunger and reducing poverty.

The program “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival at the Border” is not simply a charity activity, but also a bridge connecting the military and civilian relationship. The love and sharing of the soldiers in green uniforms will forever be a beautiful image in the childhood memories of children in Tan Tien.

Last weekend, the Hoa Mat Troi volunteer group had a busy but loving day when organizing a fundraising booth for children in disadvantaged areas. From early morning, members were busy preparing ingredients, making cakes, making tea, decorating the booth and selling pillow cakes, milk tea cups, handmade lanterns... Each product is a heart, a message of love to children in the highlands.

With the enthusiastic support of everyone, the group has collected more than 10 million VND. This money will be used to organize the program "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" at Tan Lap Kindergarten, Lao Cai province, bringing the joy of Mid-Autumn Festival to 70 students here.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh - a member of the Hoa Mat Troi group - emotionally shared: Each cake and each cup of tea sent carries our hope for a full Mid-Autumn Festival for the children. We hope that this activity not only spreads the spirit of mutual love, but also affirms the active role of young people in community activities, especially for children in disadvantaged areas.

For children being treated in hospital, Mid-Autumn Festival is a simple but sometimes far-fetched dream. Understanding that, many Mid-Autumn Festival programs have been organized right at the hospital, which is a valuable spiritual medicine to give more motivation for children to overcome their illness.

The medical staff transformed into Cuoi and Hang, bringing funny performances, fairy tales and games full of laughter. Looking at her child eagerly holding the small lantern, her eyes shining as she laughed and played with her friends on the special Mid-Autumn night, unable to hide her emotions, quietly wiping away her tears, Thao Thi Say shared: It has been a long time since I have seen my child smile so happily, as if forgetting all the pain and fatigue. I am very grateful to the doctors and benefactors who organized this meaningful program.
In the colorful space of the full moon festival, all distances seem to be erased, leaving only smiles, sharing and empathy. The Mid-Autumn Festival has become a loving connection between kind hearts and children. Every gift, every wish, every small action contributes to bringing children a full moon season of joy.
