Cuu Long University signed a cooperation agreement with Saigon-ITO Hospital System

(NLDO) - Saigon-ITO wishes to connect and cooperate with Cuu Long University in the medical field, contributing to taking good care of people's health.

On the afternoon of September 9, leaders of Cuu Long University had a meeting and worked with Saigon - ITO Hospital System on comprehensive cooperation in the field of medicine and health care.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Pham The Dong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon-ITO Hospital System; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Director of Saigon CTCH International Hospital, and members of the working delegation.

On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Meritorious Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Party Committee Secretary, Principal; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung - Vice Principal; Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan - Vice Principal; Master Nguyen Cao Dat - Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors; and leaders of a number of affiliated units.

Speaking at the meeting, Distinguished Teacher Luong Minh Cu briefly introduced the school. Accordingly, it is a multi-disciplinary training school in 4 fields, including: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Finance.

In particular, the Health Sciences sector has 9 undergraduate training majors and 03 level 1 specialized majors. The training scale of the health sector is about 12,000 students. The school is investing in building an 8-storey building to serve the training of the Health Sciences sector. In the coming time, it is hoped that the cooperation between the two sides will bring many good results.

The two sides discussed potential cooperation issues in the future. After the discussion, the two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation in the field of medicine and health care, including professional activities, technical support, experience sharing and accompanying in community programs.

Facilitate the reception of students from the school's health care majors to practice and intern at the Saigon-ITO Hospital System. Cooperate in education and training, practice guidance and scientific research. Cooperate in organizing conferences and scientific seminars in the field of health care...
